Snake Guard Snake Trap

Snakes and lizards are abundant in most southern sections of North America. Warm summers and mild winters allow these cold blooded animals to prosper.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Snake Guard Snake Trap is a trap designed for use inside a structure where a low profile is needed. The Snake Guard Trap will catch snakes up to 8 feet long with- out hurting them. Once trapped, the snake can be destroyed or released depending on local ordinances. The trap is of card- board design with glue inside. This glue is applied in such a way to insure that the snakes will get caught without being able to bite or escape.
WHERE TO USE IT: Inside where it is relatively dry. This includes living areas, attics, crawl spaces, sheds and garages.
RATE OF APPLICATION: 1 or 2 traps per room which is suspected of having a snake. More may be needed in large rooms.

Snake Repellent

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A granular material which will last up to three months when sprinkled outside. It has a slight odor which snakes can detect but people and pets don't. It is designed to withstand rain and weather and last up to three months per application when used with a granule guard.

WHERE TO USE IT: Outside. Apply it between an area where you suspect snakes might come from and where you don't want them to go. You are essentially drawing a line over which they won't cross. Though you can place this line around the home, you can also place it out in the yard so they don't come into play or picnic areas.

RATE OF APPLICATION: 1 lb will create a barrier 65 feet long. When used in a Granule Guard, place 4 oz of repellent per guard and locate them every 15 feet. Closer placements may be needed depending on local snake populations and densities.

Snake Granule Guard

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Strong plastic holding container that can be filled with liquid or dry material. The roof will protect it's contents from rain and sun but the vents will allow the odor to release in the designated treatment area. Great for sensitive areas to keep it away from children and pets or if you need to remove the product quickly for a party. The holding tank will separate from the securing stake easily so you can remove the holding tank without having to remove the stake - a feature that allows for quick filling and easy maintenance. These guards are great for when applying any repellent around the yard and in particular when you are trying to apply a product which has an odor that can be annoying when trying to use the treated area. The guards can simply be removed when you are using the area and then replace them when you want to keep out the unwanted pests.

WHERE TO USE IT: Gardens, flowerbeds, walkways, around pools, along fencelines, under decks, around sheds or your home.
RATE OF APPLICATION: This will vary on the product being used. For snake repellent, place 4 ounces per guard and locate them no further than 15 feet apart. Closer placements may be needed.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A rectangular box made of galvinized metal to withstand rust and rot. It has a funnel type entrance which snakes can enter but cannot escape. By placing the trap in their path, you will be able to catch them without baiting. However, adding a frog or toad as bait will catch some species quicker.

WHERE TO USE IT: This trap is best to use outside. It can be set along waterways such as streams and rivers. You will also catch snakes along fence rows, retainer walls or against the foundation of any home or building. In general, you do not need to use any bait although using some will enable you to catch certain species quicker.
